RENT A RACK

Geelong's only boutique that allows you to price your items.

Cercle Lifestyle is the only boutique in Geelong offering you a unique opportunity to set the price of your items and sell up to 30 pieces at a time over a 2-week period.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Email us to make a booking:
   hello@cerclelifestyle.com
   We'll get back to you via email with the date of your 2-week booking.
   
   
2. Pay for your rack
   Once your booking is confirmed, please make PAYMENT HERE to finalise your booking.
   
   
3. Visit us in boutique to receive the following:
   - Rack/consigner number
   - Inventory sheet for recording your items
   - Swing tags to attach a price to each item.
   
   
4. Price your pieces
   Before listing your items, we suggest doing a little research online to gain an understanding of the pre-loved market. Rent A Rack has been designed to help our customers sell a higher volume of items, quicker. We encourage you to price pieces to sell! Keep in mind, unlike our traditional consignment model, you will receive a higher commission (75%).
   
   If you have more expensive, high-end items, we recommend considering our traditional consignment model which includes exposure via social media and website.
   
   
5. Bring your pieces to Cercle Lifestyle
   The rental period for Rent A Rack commences on a Wednesday for a duration of two weeks. As we are closed Sunday-Tuesday, the rental period ends on the Saturday to allow for new Rent A Rack to commence the following week.
   
   Sellers are required to drop their items at Cercle Lifestyle the day before (e.g. Tuesday) to provide our team time to merchandise and photograph items for social media ahead of start of trade Wednesday.
   
   Example of a 2-week booking:
   Drop off: Tuesday 9 September
   Rent A Rack commences: Wednesday 10 September
   Rent A Rack concludes: Saturday 20 September (note: Cercle is closed Sunday-Tuesday)

RENT A RACK FAQS

What does it cost to rent a rack?
$180 per rack. Payment is required upon booking and is non refundable.

What is the commission I receive? 
75%.

How many pieces can I have on my rack?
Up to 30 pieces.

What’s the duration of the rental?
Two weeks. If we have the capacity, you are welcome to request an extension. Please email us to discuss: hello@cerclelifestyle.com.au

Can I change the date of my booking once I’ve received confirmation?
You’re welcome to email us, and if we have availability to accomodate your preferred revised date, we are happy to do so. However, please keep in mind due to other bookings, this may not be possible. 

Do I need to provide my own rack?
No, we’ll provide the rack for you.

What do I need to provide?
Just bring your clothes, price and document them, and we’ll do the rest!

What do you provide? 
In addition to the rack, we’ll provide swing tags and a spreadsheet for documenting all items on your rack.

How do you track my sales?
As part of your pricing process, you will document each item in a spreadsheet provided by Cercle Lifestyle. 

Can I have two racks?
Yes!

Can I sell non-hanging pieces such as bags and shoes?
Absolutely. Non-hanging items can be displayed at the foot of the rack. We’ll help you merchandise.

How do I know what price to sell my pieces?

As we are experts in pricing pre-loved items, we are happy to help you during this process.

Will my pieces be on the website and promoted via social media?
We’ll promote your rack via social media, however pieces will not be added to the website. 

Can I replenish my rack during the 2-week period?
Yes. You’re welcome to bring additional pieces in to price, document and merchandise on your rack.

What happens if I sell everything before 2 weeks?
We love this! You’re welcome to either top up your rack, or conclude your rental period early. Please note, the rental cost ($180) is a fixed cost for the 2-week period, and there’ll be no pro-rata payments for ending the rental.
